The Community Congress in Karlsruhe brought together experts and startups from the fields of cybersecurity and mobility. Detesia received the Community Award for its innovative solution for deepfake detection.
At the Community Congress of StartUpSecure Kastel in Karlsruhe, organized at the KIT-Gründerschmiede, Detesia was able to convince with its pitch for deepfake detection and was awarded the Community Award. The event combined exciting impulses from the fields of cybersecurity and mobility and offered keynotes and panels as well as a pitch competition for start-ups. The Community Award was sponsored by the PTV Group. Detesia would like to thank the organizers Kamelia Maleschlijski and Alexander Graf as well as all participants for their contribution to a more secure digital future.

Detesia was awarded first prize at CISPA Pitch Day #2 and will have a stand at the international startup conference Slush. The event provided a stage for visionary cybersecurity startups and fostered valuable connections with investors and other innovators.
At the second Pitch Day of the CISPA Helmholtz Center for Information Security, Detesia was able to convince with its deepfake detection technology and was awarded 1st prize: A stand of its own at the renowned Slush event in Helsinki! A total of eight start-ups - including CyberTide, XOR, Detesia, InputLab, contexxt.ai, Cybervize, INVISID and CodeShield - presented their solutions to a panel of nine experienced investors. The event was accompanied by an exciting presentation by Sergej Epp on current developments in cyber security and an inspiring speech by CISPA CEO Prof. Dr. Michael Backes.

The accelerator program "SpeedUpSecure" promotes startups with innovative solutions in the field of cybersecurity. Seven startups qualified for the program and went through the intensive accelerator program from mid-May. They were given access to a strong network of experts from business and research who are involved in the accelerator as mentors, jurors, coaches or with keynote speeches. The start-up incubator StartUpSecure at the National Research Center for Applied Cybersecurity ATHENE in Darmstadt launched the accelerator.
Seven innovative start-up projects in the field of cybersecurity successfully completed the accelerator program "SpeedUpSecure". At the end of the program, they presented their business idea to a top-class jury [Tolga Yilmaz, Cybersecurity Executive Advisor, Schwarz Digits KG; Naby Diaw, CISO Lufthansa AG; Iskro Mollov, CISO GEA Group; Michael Schrank, CISO; Dr. Maurice Kügler, Senior Investment Manager, High-Tech Gründerfonds Management GmbH; Guenter Kraft, CEO Xariva Ventures; David Kelm, Entrepreneur & Business Angel] and the expert audience. The winning teams received prize money totaling EUR 17,500. The three best-placed start-ups: Trustlens [now: Detesia] (1st place), InputLab (2nd place) and VISS (3rd place).
The spin-off Trustlens [now: Detesia] won the first prize of EUR 10,000. The jury based its decision on the fact that the solution is intuitive and specifically addresses an existing problem. The two founders Philipp Dewald and Tim Walita expressed their gratitude:"We were delighted to win the Final Pitch Day and would like to thank all our supporters. The expert sessions gave us an incredible amount of new insights and the networking at the kick-off and today at the Final Pitch Day was absolutely beneficial."
